About Terri: I grew up in Waterbury, Connecticut, a very small town where everyone knew your momma or daddy. 🙂 I went to school at A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. (Aggie Pride) After graduating, I moved to Washington, DC where I met my husband. I worked for several fortune 500 companies. None of which allowed me to use my creativity or my love for writing. (Unless you count writing documentation or user manuals.) So, I went back to school to learn about creative writing and received my certification. I fulfilled a lifelong dream and became a published author, writing five novels in five years. I love reading but am super picky and will stop reading if the book is boring, pointless, or filled with errors. (It’s the nature of the business). For fun, I love traveling, hiking, finding waterfalls, roller skating, and watching basketball. My favorite team is the National Champion Golden State Warrior. i also like gymnastics. My family and I donate to St Jude’s, Must Ministry, and World Vision where we’ve sponsored three kids from Africa. We are members of NorthPoint Ministry and East Cobb Church. My husband and I have three adult children, ages 20, 22, and 26. I am a member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Cobb Collaborative, and RICE Foundation. I also am the founder of LIFT2Enrich Inc., a 501c3 organization where we provide writing and mentorship to underserved youth and Title 1 schools. (www.LIFT2Enrich.org)
