Terms of Services

The participation guidelines below relate to behavior in the CWIB Facebook Group, Growth Groups, and In-person events. Some items are more applicable to Growth Group interactions than other meetings.

  1. I will NEVER add any members or visitors from events to an email distribution list without their express permission.
  2. I will approach the group with a collaborative, not competitive spirit. I will have an abundance mindset when it comes to communicating with a possible competitor or when asked to share knowledge or resources with the group.
  3. I agree to be respectful at all times. This includes:
    • Being respectful of differing viewpoints. Agree to disagree.
    • Being respectful of people’s time in meetings. Don’t dominate a conversation.
  4. I agree to be fully present and focused during online meetings. I will not take phone calls, eat on camera, or engage in other distracting, multi-tasking behaviors. (In emergency cases, I will mute myself and turn off my video.)
  5. I agree to be open-minded. I’m willing to consider being wrong, and I will be open to all new ideas.
  6. I’m willing to be vulnerable (within reason) when it comes to sharing challenges I’m facing on a personal or business level.
  7. I agree to keep all information shared within the group private unless given specific permission to share.
  8. I will not use any information shared within the group to negatively affect or harm any group member or other business or person outside the group.
  9. I agree to address negative issues or challenges FIRST with the person(s) involved in a kind and respectful manner, seeking understanding and resolution. If the issue cannot be solved directly, then the matter should be discussed with an admin of the group.
  10. I agree to NEVER complain about another member or visitor or express derogatory opinions in public. Any disagreement will be handled privately as described in term #9.
  11. I understand the Admin team reserves the right to restrict participation and/or cancel membership in cases of misconduct or matters of dispute.
