About Christy: Many of you know, I originally came to this group as Crafty Christy. I’m still very much a crafty gal, but now it’s more of a hobby. I was born and raised in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. I still consider SRQ my home, even though I’ve been in Georgia for my entire adult life. I went to school at Florida State in Tallahassee and have a business degree in hospitality administration. I moved to Smyrna right out of college and started working as a Management Trainee at the Marietta Conference Center. I quickly moved into The Human Resources department and I grew a career in HR until I became a full-time stay-at-home mom. My husband, Eric, and I have been married for 16 years, met in Smyrna, and moved to East Cobb shortly after getting married. I still own my townhome in Smyrna as a rental, and both of my kids ask if they can live there later in life. Eric & I have two kids, Zack (9th) & Lindsey (7th), and a 10-year-old Carolina Dog named Jakey. I’ve always seemed to steer myself toward lighting. As a Chalk Couture Designer, I’ve been a huge supporter of our charitable partner, Watts of Love.
