About Michelle: I’m Michelle Philabaum, a fellow East Cobb mom and proud co-owner of Remodeling the South. As a licensed and fully insured General Contractor, I specialize in both interior and exterior home remodeling. My passion lies in spatial planning and transforming homes with fresh, creative designs. Outside of work I have 3 children who are all in Cobb County Schools, a husband who works as much as I do, and a 4-year-old blue Frenchie named Chaco. I enjoy listening to books and podcasts, organizing, walking, attending comedy shows, occasional shopping, doing puzzles, playing board games, and much more. Additionally, we have been a foster home for the past 5 years for dogs at both Lifeline Animal Clinic and Georgia English Bulldog Rescue. We love animals and enjoy raising our children to pitch in, support someone in need, and rehabilitate with patience and care. I am also a big recycler and wish there were more recycling opportunities for construction - if you have any resources, please share!
