About Nancy: I'm Nancy, a follower of Jesus Christ, proud mom of two grown sons, a loving daughter-in-law, and a joyful grandmother. My husband Richard and I have shared over 42 wonderful years together. I adore kids and young people and find joy in deep conversations that connect hearts. Business Description: Foundational Family is built on the belief that family is the foundation from which resilient, confident, and healthy kids grow. As a Clinical Social Worker, Family Therapist, Parenting Coach, and sought-after speaker, I work with young people—from middle school through college—and their families to navigate the challenges they face today. Understanding the demands of busy family life, I created Parent Power Lunch Coaching (PPL)—a live, 30-minute Zoom session every Tuesday at noon EST. It’s quick, supportive, and available when you are. If you can’t make it live, every session is archived for easy access, and I often join early to offer some one-on-one or small group time. I also provide personalized coaching across the USA and Canada via Zoom. I regularly speak on podcasts, at schools or PTAs, churches, and business organizations on topics like effective communication, boundary setting, listening, and negotiating. Raising kids is often like negotiating with drunken, bipolar pirates—where the real trick is getting them to do what needs to be done and thanking you for it! Businesses and families alike thrive on strong communication, clear boundaries, and relationships built on genuine listening. Ideal Customer: I love working with moms of tweens and teens who feel overwhelmed and unsure about what steps to take next. My ideal client is often a working mom—or someone who has worked—who deeply values coaching and mentoring. She wants to strengthen her relationship and communication with her teen or tween but often finds herself navigating this journey alone, especially when her partner isn’t on the same page. I also enjoy working with divorcing moms or divorced couples striving to co-parent effectively helping them build cooperative relationships that support their children. Or building a SAFE and appropriate relationship in the case of a narcissistic parent. I am passionate about sharing my insights and experience, and I love speaking in a variety of settings—from podcasts to schools, PTAs, churches, and business organizations. Wherever there’s an audience eager to learn about effective communication, boundary setting, and creating strong family foundations, I’m excited to be there.
