About Heather: I am originally from Indiana and a proud Purdue graduate, but I have called Georgia home for over 25 years. I live in Smyrna with my husband and two boys, ages 14 and 11. My boys play a lot of baseball, as well as flag football and basketball, so you can find me at pretty much any baseball field in the metro Atlanta area on most nights and weekends. As the owner of my travel agency and having young kids, like most of you my free time right now is a bit limited. But when I do have any free time, I am traveling somewhere, hanging out with friends, going to concerts, or attempting to read the book for my book club - but let's be real, most months I just show up for the wine and good company! I believe in giving back to our community as much as I can, so I'm a big supporter of a number of local organizations and schools (Smyrna Little League, Campbell Middle School, St. Benedicts, etc). I was also the contributing travel writer for Our Town Monthly Magazine for over six years. I'm currently on hiatus from my monthly travel articles, but will be back!
